Soil Erosion Control Program | Cover Crop

The purpose of this program is to help Warren County landowners with the necessary means to plant a cover crop to reduce degradation and soil erosion.

Eligibility
- 50/50 Cost Share Rate not to exceed $3,000.00 (Reimbursed 50% of expenses, up to $3,000)
- One application per FSA farm number/Landowner
- Cost-share available for seed cost only, up to $25 per acre
- Must have an updated Ag Water Quality Plan
- Wheat as a single species is not eligible
- Deadline to turn in bills for payment is December 5
- Applicants are subject to a random spot check


Applications are accepted July 1, 2021, thru November 30, 2021. 


 *To be eligible for WCCD programs, you must be a Warren County resident.
