Beginning in September, this contest educates students on soil, water, forestry and wildlife conservation. Students take the knowledge they have gained from the educational tabloid and transform it into creative art work and essays. The tabloid includes educational content and more information regarding the contest. Submit completed work by December 1 to warrencountyconservation@hotmail.com. Give us a call if you have any questions!
Teachers, encourage your class, parents and caretakers, encourage your student to participate!
Grades 1-5 participate in the art contest and grades 6-12 are eligible to participate in the essay contest.
Learn all about soils with this interactive program. Solve a crime all while learning about soil color, texture, pH, and more! This is a great activity for 5th grades and up.
Be a water droplet and learn about water's incredible journey all while understanding why water conservation is so important. We also can discuss natural resources conservation and recycling.
We can come to your classroom and read Dr. Seuss' "The Lorax" followed by discussion and a related tree conservation activity.
Do your students know where their food comes from? Do they know that chocolate milk in fact doesn't come from brown cows? Give us a call if you would like us to talk to your students about agriculture and farmers.
We offer a variety of programs; however, if you need something different for your classroom give us a call. We would love to work with you and your needs.
