High School Scholarships

The Warren County Conservation District will award one $1,500 scholarship per high school in Warren County to qualifying high school seniors. This award will be administered through The College Heights Foundation. The scholarship will be allocated evenly over two semesters, half will be administered at enrollment and the remaining funds will be received at the beginning of the following semester with a documented minimum 2.5 GPA.


Student eligibility for the Warren County Conservation District Scholarship:
- Preference is given to high school seniors with financial need and an academic performance with minimum of 2.5 GPA. 

- Applicant must pursue a major in agriculture, natural resources, agriculture/conservation engineering, or related fields. Chemistry or biology is acceptable if the applicant intends to have a career in a conservation or agricultural related field.

Application

J. French Moore Collegiate Scholarship

The Warren County Conservation District will award one $1,000 scholarship to a qualifying Western Kentucky University student. The scholarship will be allocated evenly over two semesters, half will be administered at enrollment and the remaining funds will be allotted at the beginning of the following semester with a documented minimum 2.5 GPA.


Student eligibility for the J. French Moore Scholarship: 

- Preference is given to a Warren County resident, then to a resident of a neighboring county.

- Student must be attending Western Kentucky University with a major in agriculture, conservation, natural resource management or related field.
- Student must be enrolled full-time, be an undergraduate student, and have completed 30 credit hours.
- Maintain at least a 2.5 GPA.
